We all have a basic tendency to look for comfort and happiness in relationships. But since every one of us is imperfect in one or the other way and so are our emotions and psychology, which leads to imperfections in relationships and hence a persistent sadness. There are however people who would still bet to be having a great relationship and happening lives, but if we take a closer look then we will find that either they are hiding their sadness or the sadness they are causing to others. Any type of emotional hurt caused in a close or distant relationship can also take a toll on one’s psychological or(and) emotional health. So, what can be done to avoid this harm?
Avoid relationships? (which is practically not possible)
Avoid attachment in relationships? (well, this will require a year of training yourself)
Avoid or suppress our feelings? (which will cause further havoc on your mental /emotional health)
Become a perfect person? (which is impossible)
Of all this, the only feasible and productive option is having relationships without attachment, but now the questions that arise: - How to achieve it?
What about the basic human need for having a relationship with deep attachment?
The answer to the above two questions lies in one word: SPIRITUALITY.
Spirituality: -Establishing a relationship of ourselves(soul) with God (super soul) by meditation, services, and austerities as per the rules and regulations according to one’s belief.
Yes, the basis of spirituality lies in: -
#Having a deep attachment with the only perfect person, GOD.
#Focusing all your emotions on just one perfect person who will reciprocate 100%.
#Seeing all other souls (living beings) as equal and ourselves.
#Loving all other souls as children and deeply perfectly loved relatives of GOD.
#Knowing the relationship of other souls with us and god, development of compassion without attachment and expectation from them.
#Sincere practice for the development of love and service attitude for GOD
So, this is the essence of spirituality.
